salsa club

yesterday after we left school we went to this convenience store oxxo so katie could buy a mexico cell phone. she has so much trouble working it, its so different! lunch was chicken, mashed potatoes, and salad. so good! we talked to elba for a long time then, it was a lot of fun! her and herons 50th wedding anniversary is next sunday! we went up on the terraza then to tomar el sol, were stared at like animals in a zoo by the workers next door. lame. then homework and we got ready to go out. we ate at the cafe across the street then and got a taxi to the park we were going to meet the texas people at, at 9. we lost the street names and the driver didnt know the landmarks that worked for us before so we ended up getting out someplace we have never seen and got another taxi, that also didnt know, so we went back to our house at like 945 to get an address or call them. katie realized she had the address to the club and since we were very late by then we just went there. we got there and it was like completely empty, we didnt see anyone we knew, and we had already paid 6 dollars to get in. so we were going to the bar to use our free drink coupon when everyone else walked in. that was such a huge relief. it ended up getting pretty busy in there, but not til late. we had a big group tequila shot with all 20 some people then just salsa danced. it was a lot of fun! my feet hurt today though! i danced with people from school and some mexicans too. one was gettin creepy so everytime i turned and was facing people from school i kept mouthing help, well they just thought i was having fun so let me keep going, finally thalia realized i wanted someone to interrupt so she came and told him she wanted to dance with me. we all left at like a quarter to 2. we had to literally drag katie out of the club, cause she found some mexican lover. one of the guys from texas helped with that. we got a taxi back to our house then, and he turned out to be a creep too. he said his name was el diablo, the devil. then he said something about robar, which is to rob or to steal, then he said something about taking us to his house. soo we got outta there quick. class at 8 this morning came soooo fast! all six of us in class were at the club though so at least we were all in the same boat.

i dont know about plans for the weekend. i know a nap for sure today but otherwise some people are going to a club buda tonight. and somewhere else tomorrow night. who knows. and of course we got homework for the weekend!
