okay...

i just the longest blog ever and it didnt save soo the abbreviated version. i really debated telling about thursday night because it was a bad situation and i dont want people to worry but im just going to do it anyway.

thursday at 6 we met a ton of people from cepe at the bar el purgatorio. it was a lot of fun at we were there for 4 hours. then we walked across the street to the club chess, where i went saturday night. it was ladies night so we got in free and then also got free drink tokens, i still have all of mine. others had a lot more to drink and idk. we danced with a lot of people and the last guys we were with tried to get us to go to this after party with them. i kept saying no im going home and when we were standing outside things got a little interesting cause i kept going towards the taxis and this guy jorge kept pulling me towards their car and katie was all over his friend and mary had gotten in a car with a different guy that said he would bring her home. i screamed at jorge when he wouldnt stop pushing me into the car and finally they were gonna let me take a taxi but then katie started getting into the car so i was yelling at her because obviously that is the dumbest decision in the world, and mary was sitting in the car behind the one katie was getting in with a guy named jesus and after a half hour of arguing with katie that she was coming home with me i went to get mary for help and katie jumped in and left, so jorge and i got in the car with mary and jesus and tried to follow them but then we got pulled over by the police. they carry the biggest frickin guns ever. but jesus payed them off or whatever so we kept going. mary and i kept yelling at them asked where they were taking katie and they kept saying they didnt know. this went on for an hour and a half...we kept making them try and call their friends and get a hold of her with no success so finally at 5 15 we had them just bring us to our apartment. we called around some more obviously freaking out because katie had had 6 beers and a margarita at el purgatorio and then at least 4 beers and 2 rum and cokes at chess and so she clearly was drunk. at one point mary was talking to jesus on the phone and she could hear katie in the background but katie wouldnt get on the phone and talk to mary. sooo we finally went to bed at 545, for 1 hour. we got up for school and still hadnt heard from her. elba was knocking on her door for breakfast and i had to tell her that she wasnt there, i had no idea what to say! it was so awful and i felt so sick. so we go to school and still nothing. jesus texted mary and asked if we had found katie so we were really worried then. soo we sit through our classes, i honestly couldnt tell you what we learned because i was thinking about every bad thing that could possibly be happening. soo we walk home at noon and katie is laying in her bed sleeping. mary slapped her and was like what the hell! are you okay! and katie doesnt remember me arguing with her that she wasnt going, she doesnt remember getting in the car, the name of the driver, anything. soooo we were so worried and mad at her because that is the dumbest decision ever and she willingly got in that car. i felt terrible because i felt like it was my fault that she was gone but then again she is a big girl and i am not her babysitter. i know i need to be careful and if any of you could have heard me telling that guy i wasnt going with him you would have been proud because i could not have been any more firm or serious about it.

so needless to say yesterday we napped and stayed in because of b eing soooo exhausted.

tonight we are going to buddha again, we got vip passes from javier, the student services coordinater here. so we get in free. should be fun if everyone stays under control.


mom...i will email you back as soon as i can, the guy in here completely screwed up the time setting and i have only been in here a half hour and he claims i have only 6 minutes left, even though i gave him 10 pesos. and right now i need to quick print off a lecture thing that i need to read over the weekend and write a paper on. soo as soon as i can i will! sorry!}
