bar america, tequila, gay bar, lots of sleep

oooookay its been forever!

thursday after the internet i went to oxxo and bought a mexican cell phone. my number is 33 1151 2529 if anyone wants to make a really expensive international phone call to me! theeeeen i just studied all night. christian came and picked me up and took me to bar america at like 11 where katie and mary and luis and memo were. we just kinda hung out there, i had to drink shots of jag cause it was really cheap there or something, idk really gross! but i did it. i ended up being the last one to get home....at 4 in the morning!!!

so then i had to get up at 630 for class. my finals were okay, im not too confident on how i did but oh well. i tried. after that we went home for lunch and i found out mary and katie were leaving for the weekend to go to some cabin soo i walked to the bank alone and then decided to call my mom. i cried :( cause being left out really sucks. but it was okay. i got thalia and pinkys phone number from mary and called them to see if i could hang out with them saturday and they said of course and told me where to meet them so then i just took tylenol pm and went to bed at like 10.

saturday i got up and took a taxi to meet the texas people at this park at 915 then we walked to the bus station to catch the bus to tequila. my bus buddy was shawn and it was lots of fun. the bus was air conditioned and had recliner seats and everything, it was nice. we had a tour guide too. we stopped on the way at a place that 100 percent natural pure tequila, so i had my first shot at 11 in the morning..... 3 more by 1 pm haha it was crazy. we toured the jose cuervo factory and got a free margarita. we ate lunch at a restaurant that had an amazing view over the mountains and volcano. i took pictures so everyone can see eventually! i had chicken fajitas and rice and salad that was all super good. we stopped to shop then but i didnt buy anything. aaand then the ride home, and shawn shared his ipod with me so we rocked out to pink together. we got back at about 430, and i didnt wanna pay for another taxi so i walked home, it was about 30 or 35 minutes and super freakin hot but it was worth it haha to be cheap. i napped then and got ready and went to pinky thalia and everyone elses house at like 930. they got ready and we ate tacos and took tequila shots, it was gabriels first one in his life, then we went to shawns house cause he was having a pre party. a bunch of new cepe students had shown up so we met all of them, there is a girl from la crosse, wisconsin. soo then we got like 6 cabs and went to this club called chess, that is supposedly the hottest club in guadalajara. well they make me go to the front of the line and talk the guy into letting us it, it worked, i got 24 people in. but it really was not fun. it was ridiculously dark in there and so crowded it was impossible to move. so we all had a drink, stayed for a bit, then decided to head out. sooo after going back and forth about where to go we end up going to a gay bar called circus. we had five people crammed into our little teeny tiny taxi, it was crazy. and it took like 20 minutes to get there, none of us knew that. buuut eventually we all got there and got in and it was actually really fun. the music kinda sucked but the lights were really cool and dancing was fun. harvey rode home with natalie and me to make sure we made it home all right since we were alone and i finally got home at like 6 in the morning!!! and most embarrassing thing was that i was standing there unlocking all the locks and elba opened the door for me!! ahh! she didnt even care, she seemed so happy for me that i was out having fun. soo needless to say i slept all of sunday

mary and katie got back and i heard about all their adventures, lots of kinda scary stuff. and i talked about my weekend and all was well. we literally slept all day. met some more of elba and herons kids, as they stopped by because of fathers day and their 50th wedding anniversary.

today we showed up at school at 830 only to find out that we dont really need to be here since its just orientation for all the new people and we have already been through it. so we are just using the internet then going to wash clothes finally!!!
