puerto vallarta & third wheel

soooo i made it back from puerto vallarta! i absolutely loved it there!! the whole situation kinda sucked but the place was awesome. we left friday at like 3 and got there by 8. stopped at oxxo and found out that was the only place we were going for food, mary and i werent too happy since we had lunch at 12:30 and thats it. sooo we bought chips and cookies and basically only junk food since it was a convience store. we went to the apartment we were staying at, which was absolutely gorgeous. it had the most amazing view (im uploading pictures to facebook right this moment) oh but what really stunk was it rained the whole way there and we rode in julios pickup truck with my suitcase in the back, so all of mary and my stuff was soaking wet. soo when we got there we unpacked everything and got the drier started. we just hung around and drank and got ready to go out, then we went to a club in downtown puerto vallarta. it was fun but i like guadalajara nightlife more. we got back home at like 4 am and just went to bed obviously. oh it was mary, luis, me, julio, and diego.

saturday we got up late and everyone just layed around forever, mary and i were starving and wanted to go eat. plus we had no water or anything and we were dyin a little bit so finally at like 2 we leave to go eat and the guys argued forever about which place and we finally end up at a taco stand where i had some really good chicken tacos. from there we went to their friends apartment and swam in the pool. buuuuut diego and julio didnt bring swimsuits so the whole time it was mary, luis, and me. yay. so that pretty much really sucked. we left then at like 4 and went back to the place and mary and luis just went in a room to sleep so i went outside to lay in the sun some more but that got really freakin hot so i went in and diego and julio were watching a movie i didnt know that was already half over so i just sat around, tried to sleep, tried not to kill myself. finally at like 8:30 mary and luis get up and i was pretty pissed by then cause i actually wanted to do stuff and i couldnt leave the apartment because there was a gate you needed to unlock and relock to leave and they couldnt just give me the key, so i was stuck there bored out of my freaking mind. so i said something and luis was like you just gotta relax and enjoy doing nothing, im having a great time, im like yeah cause you have mary, im frickin alone. grrr so we got ready and went to this club called christine and it was right next to the hotel the cepe people were staying at so i got to see the illinois girls at least, i spent like 2 hours with them. then i danced with one of luiss friend for the rest of the night. it was tons of fun, he taught me a bunch of salsa moves and wasnt like all the other creeps that just wanna grind, we actually danced. sooo yeah we went home at 5:30 in the morning.

sunday i got up at like 1 and it was raining and cloudy out but after a while it stopped raining so mary, luis, and i went down to the ocean. i swam in the ocean!!!! i absolutely loved it! we stayed down there for only like an hour and a half though, so in total over the weekend i didnt even get 4 hours of sun. yay. we went back up to the apartment then and i had asked luis on saturday if at some point he could bring me to the downtown area so i could buy souvenirs. sooo finally at 8:30 on sunday night he decides we can go get food to make dinner and take me shopping. well duh, nothing was open. so i didnt get to buy anything. thank you ass hole. so luis, mary, diego, and i go to the supermarket because we cant just eat in a restaurant that would have been cheaper and faster, we need to cook our food. so they decide to make hamburgers, they have to buy meat, buns, ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, and onions. so i buy stuff and make chilequiles (even though we had it for breakfast that day) and finally at like 1030 at night we ate. we also rented juno from blockbuster, but everyone fell asleep during it. so yeah, we just ended up sleeping early.

monday they got us up at like 9 and we ate more chilequiles and got ready and left. it rained all of monday, in puerto vallarta and in guadalajara. so that was a really like 5 hour car ride with me mary and luis in the back seat and them making out the entire time. we finally got home and mary and i unpacked our wet clothes again and then went to eat in a restaurant with luis, i had a really good chicken panini. theeeen i went home and mary and luis stayed together (of course) and i helped katie finish her homework and we went to the bar down the street called va de vi, where we have gone a few times before and they let us drink for free and make us pizza for free too, even though its not on the menu. everyone is so nice there and we spoke spanish the entire time, so it was awesome.

sooo we have less than 2 weeks left and are going to cram as much in as possible, since the first few weeks we didnt do as much. but what really sucks is now really really is the rainy season, its been raining all day today. it sure was fun walking 15 minutes to school today in pouring rain with no umbrella! im glad i slept in and didnt shower this morning!

overall: loved puerto vallarta, loved the ocean, beautiful place. hated the company. thats all!
